Hello everyone! I’m Dan Kirk aka Captain Kirk. I’m now booking Fox River DePere Guide Trips. It’s a great time to get on my calendar for March of 2024!
Guiding will begin in March. Of course it’s all based on the weather when fishing early for fat prespawn walleyes. Booking short notice is fine. Keep an eye on the weather and give me a shout when it looks good to you! Or take a chance and book now. If the weather sucks when your date comes along, like big snow, below freezing temps. and or ice, we will reschedule. It’s that simple.
Join me in my comfortable river fishing boat while we jig for walleyes. We’ll mostly do vertical jigging as that’s a great way to put fish in the boat during the cold water spawning run. And at times we may also cast jig and plastic combos in the shallow water.
I have all the fishing gear including some sensitive rods so you can feel bottom and more importantly feel a light bite. There is no substitute for quality equipment! And I’ve got some good stuff.

I expect that we will catch fish. Of course no one ever wants to get skunked and I will try my hardest to put you on fish. Unfortunately sometimes the bite is just off. So if the fish aren’t biting and no fish get in the boat, you do not have to pay the balance due! No Fish – No Balance Due! It’s just that simple.
